VLC: Buffering?

VLC: Buffering?

Is there a way to increase the buffering time? Or is there another reason why streaming audio is skipping at times?

Yes

Settings - Preferences. Be sure "Advanced Options" is checked. Then Input/Codecs - Access Modules and choose the type of protocol you're streaming. If HTTP, for instance, click it and change the default of 1200ms (aka 1.2 seconds) to something higher.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
