We still need a hint to the German pages on PortableApps.com!

Hello @all, hi John,

we need any kind of hint to the German pages on PortableApps.com.

Thanks the work of the German Team with Simeon, Andreasma and me we have German
pages online for all published Apps.

But no one will find them Sad cause there is no hint on it on PortableApps.com.

What can we do to get it?
Any kind, text string or flag is welcome and better than no hint.

Kind regards

Marko

Organize

We need to organize better first. For starters, we need to get the German apps on the main SourceForge project. They shouldn't be hosted at another project. I'm making Ryan a release manager as well. So you'll just need to upload things to SF and then ping us to have them released. I haven't been checking the releases myself, but after we've done a few and I've checked a few, I'll make one of you guys a release tech as well. I just want to be absolutely positive we don't have a repeat of that Thunderbird bundling incident.

Yep

It is better to have all the stuff at one place (although Joe average wouldnt notice;)). And maybe it would be better to make Marko the dev cause he is already working on the other german versions. Im just a humble translator...;)

.

The eventual aim is to have a German translation team so that you can all check and recheck it.
You can never have enough translators Wink

On that subject, I'm speaking to one of my teachers about doing the Italian translation. I'll let you know how I go.

You're right.

Hi John,

this would be a big goal!

If we are able to put the stuff on the right (the portableapps) project there is no need to put it elsewhere.
The only reason to put in on another project was that we want to show that we think that SF is the right way to do it.

If You'll set me (or Simeon) as release tech for portableapps there is no need to upload any package to another place Smile

Trust in me and the German Team John (BTW Simeon and Andreas are more then simple translators Smile ) and we will have packages with German installers and launchers for every avaiable app on PortableApps soon.

Regards
Marko

Hi John ...

... if You'll have some minutes for it, please give me the release tech.

I'll upload the next RCs of Sokoban YAST and NeverballPortable directly to Portableapps.com on SF.

Regards
Marko
