I'd just like to bring attention to this program. Xion is one of the best looking audio player i've ever seen. it's not open source though, but then it's already portable. you can find it here. remember to go to the skins section to get the skins.i'd recomend the Alexis one.

Downloaded and tried yesterday... ok, it's true "sounds betters, plays better" and it looks very nice, but...
It stays in memory when you close it (it can't be killed with ctrl+alt+del, not even with unloker) so don't let you eject your PDrive...
I had to use killbox to remove it... and that is not nice...

what the, lolz it works perfectly fine for me. i run it from my USB and i can just close it and safely eject easily.

I've had Xion on my portable for a few weeks, it closes and ejects fine using xrxca's eject script.
