Is it legal to create a portable launcher for a program that is free, but not open-source?
Since DVDShrink isn't portable (leaves files in app data folder), I was thinking of trying to make a portable launcher for it since I saw one person made one for EAC, which is free, but not open-source.
If I can't, that's cool. If I can, awesome.

Then why was it allowed for the person who posted the uTorrent portable launcher and the EAC portable launcher? They both posted their on this site and links where to download it at.
They only posted the Launcher they made without including the actual program.

That means you can create a launcher and include the source and the info where to download the actual program and what to do with it and post it here.

I was talking about just posting the launcher, not the launcher with the program included. Just a little misunderstanding between us.
