I've found that Firefox Portable creates the following:
%appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\pluginreg.dat
%userprofile%\Impostazioni locali\Dati applicazioni\Mozilla\Firefox\FirefoxPortable\App\firefox\updates\0
Any workaround?

What OS do you have?

"What about Love?" - "Overrated. Biochemically no different than eating large quantities of chocolate." - Al Pacino in The Devils Advocate
It does delete the first entry on exit. (though it would be more appropriated not to write on launch/delete on exit for a truly portable app, imho)
By the way, the second entry is still there:
%userprofile%\Impostazioni locali\Dati applicazioni\Mozilla\Firefox\FirefoxPortable\App\firefox\updates\0
I've got Windows XP Home Edition
And the translation of that would be?

... that the second entry is created by the portable version?
Please delete it and look if it will created again.
"though it would be more appropriated not to write on launch/delete on exit for a truly portable app, imho" Shure, but in order to do this You have to change firefox
binaries and thats not allowed.
(In this case You have to create a FF clone from the source an remove all Firefox related entries and You have to give it a new new name like 'Piceweazle' or something like that :-))
