Hi,
browser (window) does not open when clicking on embedded links within the body of an e-mail.
Non portable Thunderbird usually opens a default browser instance or window.
What went wrong ?
Thank you
Cheers

This has been answered 100000 times:
To open the right application if yuo click a file/link, Windows has to know which on the right Application is.
That info has to be saved on the PC which would be violating the portability of our Apps here.

Hi,
it would be sufficient for me to open the browser, that windows knows to be the default. I don't talk about opening the possibly installed portable browser on my memory stick. The only "violation" of not leaving a trace on the "host" computer could be, that the URL would be registerd in the browser cache, which could be removed.
