This is a roguelike game in the same line as NetHack.
(original Website) http://www.dungeoncrawl.org/?d
(Wikipedia link) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linley's_Dungeon_Crawl
There is a tile version of this game here: http://crawlj.sourceforge.jp/down_e.html
The tile version is portable. (as far as I can tell)
Since the main version of Dungeon Crawl has stalled, a project has risen to continue development of it. It is called Stone Soup, and it also has a tile version.
(Stone Soup) http://crawl-ref.sourceforge.net/
(Tile version) http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=2314850 (about midway through the first post, or http://www.savefile.com/files/471893 for the direct link.)
I would prefer the tile version of Stone Soup Dungeon Crawl, but verification and cleaning up of the tile version of vanilla Dungeon Crawl would be fine. I would prefer tiled to untiled if at all possible.
Here's the information in a neat package:
Name: Linley's Dungeon Crawl / Stone Soup
License: Crawl General Public License (Based off of NetHack license, and open source) http://www.dungeoncrawl.org/?d.l
Websites: Posted above, but my preferred version is here as well: http://www.savefile.com/files/471893
Description: NetHack-like Roguelike game.
I want to make the same request, so I will just comment here. The two versions and their source code can all be found here: http://crawl.develz.org/download.htm
