Custom Folders

Is there anyway for me to add custom folders to the portable apps menu? I would like to put a games button next to the music, video, and pictures. (I have some really small flash games)

BTW, I apologize if this is already somewhere on the fourms (I could not find it) or if I put this in the wrong place or something.

Thank You!

James

Check Out this

Utilize these
https://portableapps.com/node/8091
to make categories within the PAM Menu. Works fines with 1.1 beta 4 (I tested).

If you want, I'll email you some other ones with more game like icons.

Not exactly what I need

This is really cool and I am now using it but that is not was I meant. The games I want to put on here are not portable EXEs they are .SWFs. What I am looking for is another quick link to a folder like the music and video buttons.

Thank you for the neat program though!!!

Well

What I do is I have two (I like to keep them broken up, about 4-5 each)
I made one, the I made two folders.
a. Swf's
b. the games
The games has standalones in it
swf's has the standalone flash player in it, and then I just stick the wfs's in there. That way, when you hit browse, it opens that directory. Not the most ideal, but it works for me.
Tree structure looks like
X:/
---PortableApps
--------FlashGames 2
-------------Swfs
------------------Standaloneflash.exe (game platform)
------------------DoubleWires.swf (game in swf)
-------------Games
------------------Standalones.exes (these are the standlones)
------------------FlashGame Catagorizer.exe

Alternately, use the geek menu or xrxca's mod r30 *Edit* My mistake. Xrxac's doesn't let you have a folder on the menu. The geek menu does.

I wrote these instructions for making standalones.

Hope this comment helps as well.
