a quick search of the site reveals these haven't been requested yet. Everyone likes games If anyone wants to work on these as a personal project that would be great, or once the state of development documentation improves or an easy "portable-app-izer" comes out I can contribute a "build" as well.
Thanks for great stuff so far, and looking for more great stuff in the future,
DH
Yes freeciv would be great... And what do you think of a portable Z-Machine interpreter... I've just Unzipped Windows Frotz 2002 on my USB drive, created a link in PStart and everything seems to work
Yeah... same here...
I have a huge collection of Infocom Z-Machine files, if anybody wants some... Also, you can go to http://www.ifiction.com to play some online.

FreeCiv will already work off a usb drive. Just download and install it to your hard drive and then copy the entire folder over to your usb drive. Then run civclient.exe to launch the game.
I think that it would be better for the more "layman" types if it was in a .paf, especially for those who use the PortableApps suite. Just to make it even more so friendlier, plus IIRC, John uses a compression routine in the progs. he makes portable. Smaller file size is always a plus.
P.S. Sorry for dragging a year-old topic back up from the muck. Just noticed after posting that it was from April, '06.
