DVDStyler Portable 1.5.1 Pre-Release 1

I had been working on a portable version of DVDStyler. Someone mentioned it, so here's a test version of it. It lets you create DVD Menus. I'm not sure if the app is fully ready for prime time on Windows... at least as far as burning is concerned. I couldn't get it to work. But I'm posting a test for folks to try out anyway.

Download DVDStyler 1.5.1 Pre-Release 1
(may take a few minutes to appear on all servers)

Please post any feedback.

Thanks,
John

Can´t find

the link to the Help file in the Dropdown menu "Help".Styling the DVD menu seems to work, burning an iso either.

wasn't able to burn

When I tried to burn a test compelation, the probram only saw my dvd reader, not my burner (which is my second optical drive).

I'm running Winxp, with 2 hard drives, 1 dvd reader, and 1 dvd burner.

Doesn't appear to be specific to the portable version though. I tried the standard install and all it saw was my 2 hard drives.

Yeah

You need to 'burn' it to an ISO and then burn that with something like InfraRecorder.

I'm thinking this app just ain't ready for prime time.

PR

As long as you update it all, it's solid and the installer handles the upgrade from the old version (removing old files/directories), keep it as a pre-release and start a new topic.

If anyone's having problems downloading this, Coral Cache seems to help...

Wait

Actually I take that back, I had two tabs open - one with my fourth or fifth refresh of the original link and one with the coral cache link. Evidently the one that actually worked was the fourth or fifth refresh of the original link. My bad...
