Cause I was planning to make an nice GUI to a suite of apps commonly used in the development of portable applications (Regshot,NSIS Portable,XN Resource Editor PE, NotePad++ Portable [recompiled w/o the TMed crap]) Also I was planning to make an AutoIT Edition (AutoIT replacing NSIS Portable, 4 those who prefer AutoIT).
Also would it be better to have both AutoIT and NSIS Portable included under 1 download and one installer but have an option wether to install one or the other or both.
So Which idea is better the separate downloads or AutoIT and NSIS Portable installable via options.
Well here's a simple shortcut maker I made for use with Sandboxie. It's not awesome exactly, but it's a taste of what can be done with NSIS and some plugins I guess.

I would think it would be to difficult.
There are also a few IDE's for NSIS.
I've actually wondered if John uses an IDE to create the installers for Portable Apps.
Maybe John can chime in on that.

I am pretty sure John just uses as good old text editor for his nsis scripting. My personal Fav is notepad2 and HMNis Editor (It has a form designer built in)
