EBook Compiler

Anyone know a Portable eBook Compiler?

J'avais besoin d'un Portable eBook Compiler. Mais je ne connais pas quelqu'un sous GNU.

which one?

There are some PDF apps -- some people think that PDF is sort of like an ebook (I'm not one of them).

I've seen Mobipocket Reader in a "portable" version on another site (don't know how inter-compatible it would be with PA suite - not open source, though it is free).

Do you have a favorite reader?

e-book compiler

Hi there. A good e-book compiler (available for PortableApps) is eCub_Portable_1.05

A good reader is FBReader (GNU GPL)Not to fancy but does the job.

Thank You So Much!

Your my "hero for a day" blackmonx! I knew about Julian Smarts writer's software but not this. Excellent! I included the homepage for those interested in reading about the software before downloading as the link you provided is the host site not the home page.

PS. Now all we need is an eBook reader that's portable!?

Try calibre ebook manager

calibre is an ebook library organizer, ebook reader and document format converter. It synchronizes with popular ebook readers like Sony PRS-700. And is open source and free software.

calibre already works as a stand-alone application, i.e. copying the program files into your flash memory or USB hard drive. I guess it leaves behind some stuff in the Windows registry when you exit. Besides, it does not have the proper PortableApp layout. But still can be used portably, at least until someone can create a truly PortableApp version.

Just for your information, I already requested a portable calibre in this post.
