Reply to email with a copy

I'm using TB PE 2.0.0.6. One aspect that I find really frustrating is that when I reply to a message, it doesn't create a copy of that reply anywhere (like Outlook). It is a very nice feature to be ale to look back when wondering what was my last correspondence with so-and-so. Please reply!!!

it's in account settings

If you go into account settings, there a section called "Copies & Folders". In there you can tell TB to save a copy and also tell it which folder to save it in.

reply w/ copy

Thanks for the response.
I see it but I'm confused. I want TB to add a copy of the conversation in the reply. I want to see the past conversation too.

that's also in account settings

Sorry for the mis-understanding.

That's also found in account settings. Under "Composition & Addressing" theres an option to automatically quote the original message when replying.

When you do that, you might want to check where TB is going to start the reply. I think by default it wants to put it after the original message. There is a drop down box that will let you pick where the reply should appear in the message.

But if you're forwarding the message, there a seperate option for that. If you're go into the Options menu under "Composition". In the general tab there's an option to include the forwarded message as an attachment or inline. Setting it to inline will show the forwarded email as your emal. If it's set as Attachment, the email you're forwarding will appear as an attachment to your email.
