You should add a portable wiki to your suite of applications.
For a list of already portable wikis:

the tidlyWiki site didn't work with firefox so I would guess the same for their product.
WikiPad also looks promising - Windows and Linux supported apparently is portable ready...
Search can be your friend;
I use StickwikiPortable and here are some references for you:
https://portableapps.com/search/node/stickwiki
I'm not sure where I got the launcher, but I KNOW I didn't write it! But, I am reasonably sure I can send it to you, if necessary.
also I am workin on MoinMoin Portable.

As all of ya should know Micro$oft is the Evil Empire, and Windows (a.k.a. Winblows or Windoze) is their greatest general, so please make a difference and install Linux or FreeBSD on yer Windows comp.
and I use Firefox at home.
It also works fine in IE.
It's not the product...
Solanus, The East Wind
I made this half-pony, half-monkey monster to please you.
I don't actually use it but I have a copy of it saved on my computer for Tidliwiki. I use Wiki on a stick personally for what I need. Looks exactly (for the most part) like Wikipedia does so it has a recognizable face to it.
