I wonder is there any portable apps can read microsoft ebooks? could microsoft reader be made portable?

Nope ...

... I don't know any other (GPLed) reader with MS ebook support and You'll never find a portable version of the MS reader here, cause it is closed source.

First, we only do Open Source stuff around here. AFAIK nothing that Microsoft does is open source.

Convert LIT

MS Reader can't legally be made portable. But you can use Convert LIT to get your ebooks out of the proprietary LIT format and then use it with other readers.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
