thats the way you can update manually to 2.0.07.:
1. download the official firefox 2.0.0.7 release
2. extract the "Firefox Setup 2.0.0.7.exe" with Universal Extractor 1.5
3. copy the content of "\Firefox Setup 2.0.0.7\nonlocalized\" & "Firefox Setup 2.0.0.7\localized\" to "\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable\App\firefox\"
that's it. the next time you start firefox it will check compatibility of your extensions. click help -> about in the menu to see the correct version number.
Just use the Firefox auto-update.

Wow, I just noticed I still had a signature, that's enough of that.
Yeh, but it seems like there have been some issues with this update. I remember I have trouble with a couple around the FF 1.5 mark.

When you use auto-update, Firefox overwrite some settings on host registry, like uninstall information...
