I know I requested something similar back in August, but I came accross this one and it looks better then my other post (cleaner interface and has some command line variables as well) so I wanted to bring this one up too.
It's an open source program that repairs avi files. It's written in C++.

FYI,
Version 0.29 is listed at the portable freeware site as portable with some registry entries.
I did see it, but I don't think it could be considered portable if it's leaving registry entries behind
From what I understand, one of the things that makes a program portable is there can't be any files or settings left behind on the host computer. At least, that's how I'm reading the "What is a portable app?"
