Oh yes, we all know: it's done when it's done. it's gruesome. Almost every hour I'm looking for a new beta or the Pam 1.5. I wish to become more details of the new theme format to rebuild all my themes in sufficient time. Sometimes I thought it's useless to create new themes since. I'm so curious about it.
Please be gracious. My PAM is on top since... I can't remenber. So far it's worn-out and used, I really need a new version. Take a look: my poor PAM.
I wouldn't say "hurry", but it's so depressing and we're all very impatient. Please have pity on me.

I wouldn't discuss about the differences between themers and skinners (it's in your heart). I would create a justification why I need the new version. Cause there isn't a logical.
I'm still working with PAM-Mod R30 byXrXca. It's almost all I need. And I'm still create themes for it. So far a nice stress relaxation. Also I want to assist PortableApps.com. But in which way?
I'm not a coder, just a design freak. But I noticed all times I present PAM to my friends themes change the "Another tool? Boooring" to "Crazy! What's that?". I think themes are a factor making Apps like WinAmp so famous. Ok, they're only eyecatchers and even myself can't work with them a long time. Themes are useless. It's the variety. It's hard to notice this component requires 300KB, more than the half code. But in my mind it's necessary for the project to reach the deserved tribute.
Finally, I will work for PAM, not for the Mods.
OT? I don't know the right category for themes. There isn't one (I'm hoping John will create one, NeoRame seems to be the best aspirant). That's one reason I don't post an 'Old-PAM'-theme. I won't hide this topic in any other forum nor become replys about that skin.

yeah, an unofficial release (or only for themers) of the new pam (wich use the new pam theme format) for the themers would be nice.

I was trying to be humorous. SVN lets you keep track of various versions of your files ... so you can always find things.
In other words, I was suggesting that your work is valuable enough that you should avoid losing it (referring to your comment about a theme being "around here somewhere"). See, it's supposed to be funny.
I expect that setting up and/or using SVN might be a bit geeky for most themers. Maybe that's something the geeks can help the themers with?
