Pidgin: Gaim Portable?

Okay, to be honest, I've become sick of Pidgin. It's ugly and the emoticons suck. Does anyone have or know where I can find a copy of Gaim Portable?

That's the spirit!

Why don't you go tell the like 14 year-old kid that put hard work into making those sweet emoticons and got nothing in return that 'they suck'.

Compare them to the ones

Compare them to the ones from Gaim and you'll understand what I mean. They remind me of the old AIM ones. You know, the big and bulky and outdated style of emoticon. Gaim however used Yahoo and MSN's sleek and streamlined, modern, emoticons. Even had animations.

Hmm?

not by default AFAIK. I'm

not by default AFAIK. I'm pretty sure that was an add-on emoticon pack. I used GAIM and all I remember were the same bulky emoticons that Pidgin uses, only they were a little more boring and ugly.

Ok

So you don't like them, that's fine. But really, go tell Hylke Bons that they suck, seriously, I'm sure it'll make him feel great.

Here, replace the existing ones with these tiny ones, over here.

And I'm sure Bill Gates

And I'm sure Bill Gates loves it when we call Windows all kinds of names.

however, a smiley theme is not going to fix the interface problems in pidgin (some of these problems however and being fixed in the next version of pidgin)

EDIT: http://www.bobbyvoicu.com/how-to-use-yahoo-and-msn-smilies-in-pidgin/ provides the smilies I want Smile

Okay

And Bill Gates receives billions of dollars for his work, this kid received his name in the smiley about box.

I don't promote calling Windows stupid names either, I think it's ridiculous and immature even if it does have flaws like some in Vista.

I don't promote calling

I don't promote calling Windows names either, and I think money is irrelivant. But the point is, with Pidgin as a whole, I feel like we're going back in time.

And off topic, and as a side note... I used to think Vista was bad... until I tried it... I love that 3d chess game ^_^

Hmm?
