I installed Portable Apps last night (base install) and added a couple of programs (Firefox, Pidgin). Today after rebooting XP, the USB flash drive appears in My Computer as a Removable Disk, but I can't access it - I keep getting a 'Please insert a disk into Drive O' error. Any ideas?

I would try uninstalling the device through the Device Manager, remove the flash drive, and reinsert it into your USB port.
and I had to reformat the drive and reinstall, after that it worked.
