It would be nice if there was a program that switches the desktop to your favorite desktop when you put your drive in. It would make the computing experience better.:)

It's built right into the PortableApps.com Platform starting with the 1.1 Beta Release. Place a file call portableapps_wallpaper.bmp in your Documents\Pictures directory and the menu will swap it for the Windows wallpaper while the menu is running and swap it back when you close it. Nice and easy. No extra software required.

You just put a picture called portableapps_wallpaper.bmp into the \Documents\Pictures Directory.
I'd have understood that when I was 10. I was the class computer geek.

i have tried using this feature however all i have on my wallpaper when it is inserted is plain grey(or my default colour). there is a tiny tiny white dot in the center but too small to see if its supposed to be the backgorund.
