ClamWin Portable won't start in Windows ME

Hi! I have just downloaded ClamWin to scan my old PC for viruses. It was able to start without any bugs or glitches when I used it on my Windows XP computer but when I try to run it on my Windows ME, it won't start at all. I just see the splash screen, then it disappears but ClamWin doesn't appear at all. Is there something I need to do for it to work on Windows ME? I've tried using the launcher at the X:/PortableApps/ClamWinPortable/ClamWinPortable.exe and the executable in the BIN folder but still it won't run. Please help. Thanks in advance.

You are not using..

Windows. You are using Windows Mobile. They are very different Operating Systems. You might as well try to open it on a Mac. They are that different.

You might have portable versions of MS programs on your ME, but I assure you they will not work on your PC.

Sorry.

These are portable apps that can be taken with you and used on PC's. Mostly Windows based, although there are some apps that are emerging for Mac's and Linux.

Sorry about my question. I

Sorry about my question. I was referring to Windows Millennium Edition not mobile edition. Thanks for your quick reply though.

I thought so

Thanks for that.

I read the reply and thought I was going crazy.
I was thinking ME, ME, I thought that was Millennium Edition?
98,2000,ME,XP,2003 right?
What am I missing? If ME means Mobile Edition than what was that "other one"? I need coffee I guess and I'll look it up later.

I will read more carefully next time.
