Other Apps Support (Deprecated)

Hi all,

I really like the features of PNotes Portable, but I would like to have the notes (or groups) to open automatically when I run the program on startup.

I've been looking on this forum, the one at sourceforge, and I've been searching the Net.
So far, no luck. I updated to the latest v5.0112 version in the hope there was a solution.

Sorry if this has been asked, and solved already.

I asked elsewhere on this site whether the context menu is functional with the portable version of Eraser & was told that it was not, but that someone in this forum might be able to help with a workaround? I use the right-click to secure move & erase all the time, but it is not visible for the portable version on my machine (Windows XP SP2) Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, i´m a PA fan and i like to experiment a lot with the apps in here, change commands, inis, and all that.

The thing is... i was playing with the aMsn because i wanted to have a portable messenger, anyway, so i download it, installed, customized (skins, emoticons and plug-ins), i moved the app to another folder (i usually do this in order to test portablility issues with absolute/relative paths) and surprise!, there were no more custom emoticons, just red squares

I've searched the Net. It's said Chinese interface will be used after installing. However, my DiaPortable is English, and I guess that's because I'm having an English XP(with Asian language installed and Chinese for non-Unicode programs). I don't see any language option in Diaportable. I've also tried to add "LANG=zh-TW" in DiaPortableSettings.ini, but that didn't work, either.

Can anyone kindly tell me how can I change the language of Diaportable into Chinese(traditional)? Thanks so much.

I've discovered some odd behavior of the actual amsn portable!

asmn downloaded + installed on my usb stick at my office pc, done all settings (user icon, skin, behavior aso.) so far, everything works fine, closing amsn, starting it, do more settings, all ok!

The AppCompactor is a good idea, but it's missing a big opportunity by not processing text-based files as well as binary files. Many configuration files, some of which are XML-based, contain excessive white spaces because it makes them easier for a human to read, even though most of us will never open them manually. It makes no difference to the programs if excessive white spaces and comments are taken out. Some other common files, like README files, can be deleted entirely without affecting program functionality.

I'm using this application to launch PAP, and it 3/4 works but with any other application it simply closes the program (winshortcuts) itself.

Any wise person have any idea what's happening here?

im trying to make a back-up (entire drive) of my usb stick, but when it completes it gives the error that it couldn't and i should check my options, but i cant find any for it...
also, when i try to back up portable app only, it does work...

never mind, when i tried to back up manually, some files didnt want to copy, i deleted them now so everything works again...
