HOW TO STOP THEM SPLASH SCRENS

dowload the app from here http://www.digitallis.co.uk/pc/SplashKiller/index.html
unzip the file to mydos or the desktop

copy the .exe and the .dll TO THE ROOT OF THE FLASH DRIVE ONLY!

then on the drive edit autorun.inf as shown

Open=SplashKillerRunner.exe
Action=Start PortableApps menu with SplashKiller

I believe at one point I managed to build a simple little app that used Command Prompt Portable and a BAT file that had been converted to an EXE.

But it's been a while and although I might be able to find it I don't think I have seen how to specify the path to another portable app when I don't know what drive number has been assigned to the USB drive.

In the Portable App version of Stellarium 0.10.0 the my configuration box has no option to set the location. It is defaulting to Paris which does not do me much good in the American Mid-West.

Curious as to others experience. Have yet to find a solution, except perhaps to backlevel the version I am running.

When importing an .ofx into GnuCash, the dates shown for the transactions are 1 day earlier than shown when the same .ofx is imported into Microsoft Money. My concern with this is that the Microsoft Money dates match those shown in HSBC Internet Banking, i.e. if one of the tools is 'wrong' it would appear to be GnuCash

Does this sound like any known issue?

Can anybody upload a 52MB or larger disk size for mini vmac? I filled up the 24MB one and the 20MB won't hold much longer.

I just installed Notepad++ PE 5.2 and when I ran it I got the following positive in TrendMicro. I have submitted it to VirusTotal and it comes back clean. Working on submitting to TrendMicro for consideration as a false positive. Posting here for your information and in case anyone else wants to search before posting, like just did.

OS: Win XP SP 3.
Whether burning files to a CD or image, IR starts by building an image.
During this step, while adding files to the image, it stalls.
No progress on the progress bar, it just hangs forever.
Can't burn anything at all.

I've redownloaded the most recent Infrarecorder Portable, and did a clean install, but no go.

Next, I went to the Infrarecorder site, and saw that the Release Notes for the next rev, 0.46.2, had the following statement:
