[Fixed] Checksum Control Portable 2.2 error

Submitted by betaman on September 12, 2012 - 9:57pm

When I ran ChecksumControlPortable, an error message box popps up, says "The request entry was not found. Please check if it is present in the Filename C:\User\***\AppData\Local\Checksum Control...." and stuff about section and ident of request.

This error occurred in 64 bit Win7SP1, but works fine in 32 bit Win7SP1. New install into non-system drive download folder.

[Closed] Gramps 3.4.1

Submitted by transcender on September 10, 2012 - 11:35am

Duplicate report. Please see Bug 34407

I too get the python crash sometimes otherwise the exes via taskmanager spin up and then just eventually terminate.
Tried from win 7 64bit and windows 2003 that repeatedly fail (that both worked previously), but today on an alternate machine it works via win7 64bit. :/

[Closed] Gramps 3.4.1 don't start - python crashes

Submitted by MacDefender on September 10, 2012 - 8:56am

Hi,

as already written in the comment at Gramps blog I downloaded the new 3.4.1 version of Gramps but can't get it working.

Machine is a 32bit Intel with Windows 7 Enterprise. Installation path of the portable installer was F:\GrampsPortable

The installer went through without any problems but trying to start the GrampsPortable afterwards didn't work. Just got a popup from WIndows telling me that python crashed.

Chrome will not exit

Submitted by Russ Schosid on September 9, 2012 - 3:16am

I've done a bit of searching and I couldn't find any similar topics... So I hope I'm not beating a dead horse here or anything... But the chrome portable *I've tried with both beta and stable* will not close no matter how I choose to exit them. The process remains and can only be killed by... well killing the process. I've tried disabling everything I possibly could, I've tried it on my 16gb 3.0 voyager. My 16gb 3.0 store brand. and a 16gb 2.0. They all have the same problem closing chrome. If this is a known problem I apologise.... But I can't figure out why it won't close.

Development of Plugin installers for PhotoFiltre

Submitted by tapsklaps on September 8, 2012 - 12:53pm

In the last weeks I have dealt with the app PhotoFiltre intensely. Especially in a german Forum PhotoFiltre Support.de Guide is described by the moderator Shadowdance an amazing variety of possibilities for working with plugins for PhotoFiltre. The same moderator has also explained in other posts the unimagined variants for editing pictures.
