good move!
the usability was quite shrinked. said long nothing, as didn't wanted to bother you, but as you said freezes, slow down and crashes were result of the vid ads. i make my fav tec site provide my port apps and get it there to save traffic.
maybe a simple banner in header saying
1st line: no ads november
2nd line: please donate here if you like it, to help stay adfree.
no idea how to link that, it's on you john.
2nd idea for now or future:
set an amount needed and let it grow as a graph, i mean the incomming donations.

Recently Firefox Portable will not update. When you go into Help and About Firefox, it shows Restart to Update Firefox. I hit the button. Firefox restarts but the update is never applied.

It also says Firefox, Portable Edition
portable apps - 1.0

That just started showing up as well.

Hi. I use Excel daily and wish to create a portable version of Office. I understand why it isn't possible to officially add such software to the PA catalog (Microsoft license), but maybe someone could help me create a personal portable version of Office 2003 (small in size and with most of the tools and features I care about). Some instructions on how to handle the installer and how to set up the config file would be appreciated.

I have a Dell i5 Win10 Pro.

I loaded the Google Chrome portable. I had relative ease in getting a tile on Start Menu. But I have tried everyway, (had pc's since the last millenium. I'm old) and I can't find a way to get chrome on taskbar to stay. I've tried every door, backdoor, elevator and ladder and I can't find a way to get it to stick .. or even make it to the Taskbar. Oh, for the old days where you could drag an icon to the Taskbar. Am I dreaming or did we have those days. Anyway, how can I get portable Google Chrome on the Taskbar, if there is a way.
