What is PortableApps.com Launcher 2.0? Is it something to convert a standard application to a portable app or is there something that would do the same?
Are there any portable apps that will convert to these formats?
Since it seems that we have some time to wait before Platform 2.0 beta 6 comes out im going to ask:
John what do you need to shorten the time this is going to require??
Pallet of Bug Spray??
Access to an Undisclosed Location??
Truck of Beer??
Truck of unmarked bills??
BTW im planning on showing Platform 2.0 to my College Professors as a More Intelligent Way.
All the files and folders that contain all the portable apps data are sitting on my thumb drive and its cluttering up my '\'
I want to either hide these files or put them into a folder but i don't know how i can do this.. does anyone have ideas?
Regards
I thought there was going to be a new beta every week or two.
Its been 3 weeks since the last one.
Will categories be in beta 6,I'm getting fed up of waiting.
I don't know where to ask this, so I'll ask this here. If you have any suggestions for another place to ask this, please let me now.
Is there an open source audio file librarian equivalent to Calibre for eBooks?
What I would like is a program that will do the following:
I would like to use Free Commander to launch different apps so I'll have a consistent look from system to system. I have set the file -> view icon to launch universal viewer, the favorites to launch Filezilla, ClamWin, and some other apps. When I switch to another computer the flash drive doesn't always map to the same drive letter so if I select one of the icons it will attempt go to the internet to choose a program to run the app. I have changed the path in the settings and favorites edit bar to the replace the drive letter with .\ and still no success.
I'm just looking to poll the PA.c community in general on its opinions of SongBird(Portable). It seems that it's not winning fans as fast as I'm sure the developers of it would like. I see posts here for MediaMonkey, MusicBee and other iTunes alternatives, basically anything but SongBird! Everyone seems to be shying away from it, why is that? I have to confess I've only used it very briefly and I found it okay, comparable to iTunes although not nearly as polished.
can i make portable app with thinapp
