Someone for God's news about Thunderbird
By the mere fact that http://portableapps.com
redirects to https://portableapps.com
you are obviously aware of how important it us to use https, especially with Google Chrome slowly but surely on its way to block http websites.
So please make sure to link to https websites, not http ones, whenever https versions exist, of course.
Hi Friends,
the below command will launch cppcheck gui and runs analysis on a visual studio project
CppcheckPortable.exe "path to the visual studio solution/project"
However I would like to invoke CppcheckPortable on a cppcheck project (project.cppcheck) so that cppcheck gui will launch and open a pre-created project and runs analysis

Ran ClamAV today and got a rude surprise. Dozens of infections!
Most of the flagged files are in the PortableApps packages I installed. Dozens of them.
Also found one in Google's own Photo Backup/Update service.
ClamAV (PortableApps version) quarantined the files so I'm going to uninstall the infected ones, hopefully they will stay gone.
Two most common viruses/trojans/etc. found are GrafTor (Malware) and FauxPythonCover.
Was just fiddling with this problem of never being able to receive emails from PortableApps sent to my Hotmail and/or Yahoo email accounts; my understanding is that they get blocked at the email server level. So I changed my email registered with PortableApps over from Hotmail.com to Yahoo.com two days ago and, yahoo!. I am now receiving email updates from PortableApps for threads that I am subscribed to. Amazing, problem seems solved, but thought that John, and others, might be glad of the information, so post here to let folks know of the new development.

How can i run a portable application that specifies that Flash must be installed on the system. Is there a way this can be achieved with chrome browser phasing flash out?
I am currently assembling a course for professionals in Emergency Management to show them the beauty of having Portable Apps as a part of their tool kit. Before I go into actually teaching them how to use different functions, would it be possible for me to provide the attendees a flash drive already pre-loaded with several Portable Apps that I find useful in my job?
What would you recommend as the best way to build out 200-500 USB drives pre-loaded with Portable Apps and a few basic useful apps?
Hello,
I am creating emergency boot USB devices, with memory and HD.
Those devices have an emergency boot created by Macrium Reflect backup software.
Reflect uses the Windows PE 10 WADK to create the emergency boot, and it boots fine.
I have downloaded the portable apps platform into my Windows 10 Pro laptop and then copied all the associated files to the memories.
On the USB memory stick I have two partitions, and all the portable applications are there.
