I had been working on a portable version of DVDStyler. Someone mentioned it, so here's a test version of it. It lets you create DVD Menus. I'm not sure if the app is fully ready for prime time on Windows... at least as far as burning is concerned. I couldn't get it to work. But I'm posting a test for folks to try out anyway.
Download DVDStyler 1.5.1 Pre-Release 1
(may take a few minutes to appear on all servers)
Please post any feedback.
Application: Insaniquarium Deluxe
Category: Games
Description: "Feed fish! Fight aliens! This spectacular action-puzzle adventure is the craziest aquarium you’ve ever seen! Buy fish, win pets, and unlock lots of hidden secrets while you explore this captivating underwater world. Then stock your Virtual Tank with custom fish to create your own private screensaver!"
I know the title says Next Gen Launchers but thats just a codename I could think of :S really it's just a launcher written in FreeBasic but some feed back would be nice.
So far I only got it linking to Notepad2Portable which I know is already portable but it's a start. There is a registry library for FreeBasic but right now it doesn't meet my needs and hence the reason I picked Notepad2. Later once it matures or design my own library then I'll move into Phase 2 and be considered Beta.
SO enough Jabering on my behalf I'll provide the Download link. My Source is included too
The final pre-release of the next version of Toucan is now up. This has a few new features that have been requested including:
update version 0.7.1 (fixed scrolling with categories and hidden apps)
Update, please go to https://portableapps.com/node/10442 for the latest release of WinWGet Portable.
This is a program that loads fonts into ram and allows you to use them like system fonts. It does not modify the enviroment and does not require admin privliges. It works in OpenOffice. It doesn't work with all programs though.
Search for free fonts and drop some into Data\fonts. TrueType fonts are supported.
I've posted a launcher which I believe may fix the "Error loading pidgin.dll" issue that crops up on a small number of PCs. I've posted a test launcher that you can download and place in your PidginPortable directory. You'll then need to browse to the PidginPortable\App\Pidgin directory and rename pidgin.exe to pidgin-portable.exe.
