I've posted a new test release of Firefox Portable for folks to try out. There are a few new changes. The most interesting is a new feature:

Testing of beta versions of apps before public release.
I've posted a new test release of Firefox Portable for folks to try out. There are a few new changes. The most interesting is a new feature:
I know theme support is being worked on and a wallpaper swapper is being tested by John.
I have a suggestion.
The wallpaper should be tied to the theme or at least an option.
The theme support should have profiles based on machine name.
i.e. machine name SmithTechD810 would get themeblue
machine name SmithTech1 would get themebrown
machine name suzyQ would get themeDEFAULT (no profile for this machine)
Here's why.
This is the theme I use on my Personal Drive
An Alpha testing group could help test new features before they are released to beta.
A small group who would get new "releases" even a couple days before an intended beta release to give the app a good run through might catch some bugs before the "general" public gets it.
Its been a couple months now.
Could we get an update on PortableApps Menu progress?
I thought I read in the posts that a new version was gonna be released last month.
I really don't want to nag, was just hoping for an update on the progress.
I have made an other theme for PAM, this one is based on the Royal Theme for XP.

I made a portable version of WackGet, it is a minimalistic download manager based off of wget.

It only weighs 444 KB!
I have forsaken this project since I could not get the launcher to work + John already made a better one.
It is simply goodies in a paf.exe currently it comes with an iTunes theme, a mozpod.xpi file (for Thunderbird Portable), and a text file telling one where 2 get iPod managers that are portable. Of course I made this package for PAM users that use PAM on an iPod. Just goto PAM's options menu and hit install a new app and select the PortableApps Suite iPod Addon Package and the iTunes theme will be installed, the mozpod.xpi will be put in ones ThunderbirdPortable folder, and the text file telling one where 2 get iPod managers will be in the PAM folder.
I have made a Theme based on the Zune Theme for XP for PAM:

Hope you'll like it.

Hi there !
I ported the #develop IDE to a Portable Application !
Sharp develop is an open source integrated development environment for several .NET programming languages (C#, VB.NET, Boo). You´ll find more information on this wonderful piece of software at http://www.sharpdevelop.com.
Hey all. Nice site you have going here.
I kind of wanted to add my "voice" to the effort, so I wrote a win32 C/C++ version of the PortableApps Menu. It has a lot of the requested features, plus some of my own wants and ideas.
I'd like to make it available to others here but I don't have a place to park it except at SourceForge, which I don't want to do since that would really make it public and I'm the only one who's tested it so far and I also don't want this to be seen as a fork of PAM.
