Hmm... is this font from Ubuntu? Then you should change this too... http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/193/24376686.png/
I use portable apps mainly to keep the Windows system clean and make it easier to switch between Windows systems. I've got many portable apps automatically start with the system. After each working session, I have to manually exit those apps (or else setting/data will remain in system drive) then turn off my computer. Is there a more convenient solution for saving apps' data automatically before the computer turns off?
If you look back at the last few months of app releases, it's obvious that a large number of them are taken up by a small number of apps that have a rapid release cycle. Several apps have been updated 6 times, while other significant apps have been sitting in the queue since early December.
I know we have limited resources here, and I respect the huge amount of work done by the devs, which is why I worry that rapid release apps are taking up more than their fair share of their energies.
I didn't notice it before, I for the first time created a new profile in my FF3.6, and I am seeing that it is blocking popups on pretty much every page, is this the way it should be here ?
I am using Iron portableapps, version 15.0.900.2 (Developer Build 107001 Windows)
Doesn't it ever get updated? Have they stopped working on it?
Cheers.
The software MP3GainPortable don't run and display the error message below:
"Component 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"
The word "registered" in the error message confirms that the MP3GainPortable is not portable.
The developers needs fix the issue.
I have read a lot of threads about the subject of pdf writers and haven't found an answer to my problem.
I am a volunteer teacher at the local computer club. I am showing the students how to do mail merge in Open Office. I can get letters and envelopes done with mail merge, but I cannot show the students what these documents will look like when printed.
I've been using XAMP light for a while and it's amazing.
But now I need more stuff and XAMP has exactly what I need, unless my files.
I'm not an expert so I would appreciate any help about how to move my files from XAMP light to XAMP so I can keep all my applications (databases, apache configuration, and so on) in XAMP when I finally shutdown XAMP light.
Regards,
Herman.
Sourceforge is running a poll, looking for votes for it's Project of the month. A few projects that are base apps of applications we have available are in the running.
Additionally, a rival site of ours, winpenpack.com, is in the running.

For some time now, when loading portableapps.com, there will be a (more or less secret) connection to the Google website (IP 173.194.69.95), circumventing any blockers (like "Ghostery", "Disconnect", etc.). I don't want Google to know about every website that I visit and that it, unluckily, has managed to infest ;-). What's the deal?
