When I click donate I eventually wind up at the Select Currency section of the Donate page. Clicking USD (top entry) immediately takes me to paypal with a donation value of zero. I never get a chance to select the amount. Same result in Fedora-38/Gnome/Wayland/Firefox, Win10/firefox-portable, and Win10/Edge. At that point I just click cancel. Maybe I'll check back in a month or two and see if the behavior is more normal.
Hi. I am looking for apps that can help me learn a new language (Malay).
Offline. No internet. Linux or Windows. Doesn't need to be portable.
Grateful for your suggestions.
Users will experience download issues while some DNS changes are made resulting in our primary download server being inaccessible. We apologize for the issues. Clearing your DNS cache may help speed up the fix.
I have noticed that the portableapp menu doesn't open in the bottom right (like when I use it on my local laptop) over RDP.
In this latter case the menu is positioned in the top-left corner. Would it be possible for the app to work out what the current resolution is (since RDP can really be anything) and so that the menu can always open at the bottom-right (relative to the resolution in use)?
Thanks
As per title, it would be amazing to search by app name (or part of it) when installing new apps, regardless on how the app list has been compiles (by name/by category/etc)
Thanks
I am running portableapps on my 17 inch laptop which comes with 4K display, Windows 11 provides the "Suggested DPI zoom" of 250% which I accepted to make things look big enough to be usable.
The portableapps seems to react decently to the DPI zoom settings (although it could be a bit bigger to be fair. However the install new app part is very small and doesn't seem to follow the Windows DPI scaling
Is there any way to fix this and/or can the app be thought with the above setup in mind?
Thank you so much.
We have 3 commercial applications (prices in the range $30 to $99 per user for a perpetual license). They are all portable, in that they can optional store their preferences in a .ini file and are available to install as a zip file (as well as a Windows installer). We were considering making them available through portableapps.com. It doesn't look too difficult from https://portableapps.com/development/portableapps.com_format, mostly just a specific folder arrangement and a .ini file.
Thunderbird and Firefox ESR (legacy) has been updated to 102.15.1.
