Man, if there ever was an app that could go portable and is way better than e.g. Kompozer and Nvu, this is it!

Remember the good old Mozilla suite? That's been replaced with SeaMonkey, and they're always looking for developers and such in the community.

i can suggest REAPER as a nice "portableapps" application.
it is one of today's greatest audio/midi editors.
reaper has a ".bat" file to install it from harddrive on an usb-device.

I Have some experience of portable apps.

I am looking to get rid of the bloat of nero off my computer.

What portable app or apps do i need to get the functionality of nero but in portable form, bit confused about which apps do what.

I'm new at this, i'm not a programmer, i'm just throwing an idea out there so i'll try be brief, I can't find an easy dups f finder that does something like the "Remove Duplicate" extension in the Thunderbird to remove duplicate e-mail, which i find very easy to use.
Although there are other programs to do this, the problem that i find tedious is the check and unchek of all the files to keep or delete, and WinMerge it's not exactly friendly user, at least not for me.

There is a portable Linux like software out and i'm trying to burn it to a CD for future use. Can some body make it with all the modules and ready to download to CD pleas.
