I deleted my bitcoin-qt thread when I was reminded it downloads the entire blockchain, but how about Electrum?
It has the blockchain stored on the internet, while it does not store your actual wallet there.

Epic is a web browser based on Mozilla Firefox developed by Hidden Reflex specifically customized to the taste of Indian users, which was released in July 2010. Would this be something that can be done?
I know, I know...I've requested MyPaint before, but the Windows development for MyPaint is close to being dead. The Linux side is great but no one wants to volunteer for updating the Windows side.
So as an alternative, I'd like to request these two apps. Both are freely available one as a freeware and the other as open-source. Though, reading more about them kind of raises some questions on how they can be portable...but I have faith on our devs here.
Found a neat new "all access" remote app that's FOSS. Terminals is a neat app that does RDP/VNC/SSH/Telnet/etc all in one. I don't know that I would have time right now to dig into this, plus the app is written in C# so we have a .NET dependency.
Add to that, that I'm not sure their license would allow it without direct permission. So I'm posting it here in case someone else (maybe John?) will take a look and be able to work on this.

Can you make this file manager be also portable?

Hope I'm in the right place.
I see that there was some discussion of the portability of a pdf printer back in 2007/8.
I'm using XP. Is it still the case that a printer as perceived by Win is so intrinsic that it cannot be made portable?
I am aware of Libre Office and other apps that can print to pdf, this is a question about having a pdf printer whenever the ability to print is available.
I think the answer is "no, it can't be done because of the way Win does printing" but I thought I'd ask just in case.
