Other: It leaves a folder, ApplicationHistory, in the User Profile Directory. I haven't found anything other than that. The registry looks clean, but somebody should double check that.

I have been using this software, fixing my computers and I would like to have an anti-virus program to use when cleaning my families computers.

Can the OxygenOffice 2.4 release be made portable?
Openoffice is good but Oxygen gets 5+ stars in my book.

No having to search all over the web for templates and extensions to OpenOffice then pull hairs trying to figure out how to install them.

I tryed installing most of the templates and common extensions for use in Writer only to have OpenOffice get much slower overall. Oxygen already has all this preinstalled and is just as fast as a standard Ooo install. A true heeper!

I would love to see a portable journal that is encrypted.

CCleaner should be a portable app.
It is possible to choose "save settings to INI".
Why haven't ccleaner been added to portableapps? Everyone knows about it...

Is there already one, and if not that would be cool to have one.

A lot of people seem to use some of the Sysinternals programs quite regularly. Has anyone thought about making the entire suite portable? I tinkered around trying to
make regmon portable with reg rapper. I still need to tinker with it more. But I
would not be surprised if this was already done considering how useful it would be
to have all these applications on a thumbdrive. Thanks!

Right now I am testing Linux just for fun. I found out, that my Distribution comes with a PIM called Kontact. I have taken a look at this app and found out, that this could really be a good (portable) alternative to Outlook.
I read, that this application is in beta-testing, since more than one year (!) but have not found out, if they are still planning to release one for windows.
Now my questions:
1. Does anyone know about the status,
2. will that be a good app for portableapps?

DBDesigner 4 (http://www.fabforce.net/dbdesigner4/) is an Open Source Project and can be run on portable devices.
