Does anyone know of a good portable undelete app, or how to make one from an open source project?

cdrtfe is a GPL cd/dvd burning program. It is a frontend for cdrtools. I've tried it out and it seems to work well and has more features than my OEM version of Nero. All in all it looks to be a very nice program and already has a portable version, just needs '.pafing' .
Zapgrab (Zab´s screen grabber) works very fine as a portable app. I have used it for years on desktops and laptops, and for the last couple of months from my pen drive.
It can be downloaded from:
http://masterzap.is-a-geek.com/~zap/zapgrab.html.
This is an application to manage your to-dos, goals, and notes. The program already comes in two versions, both Freeware. A PC version and a U3 version.
I am currently using the U3 version but would like to get rid of the U3 functionality from my USB drive. This is the only program holding me back from doing this.
On the Accomplice website they do give instructions on how to install the PC version on a non-U3 USB drive. I just don't know if this makes it truly 'portable'.
i really need a video editor named "jahshaka" to be portable i need it today.
i dont care if it takes up a lot of space as long as its less than 100mb.

Hey there. As skype is closed source, i searched for an alternative beeing open source, nearly as powerfull as skype and runs on linux as well as windows. I tried gismo but figured out soon, that it isn't as stable as skype.
Now i found wengo and wonder if it would be possible to built a portable version of 2.0 as there already is a portable version of 0.99 (which can be found in forums around there).
A port (with enhancements) of the recently GPLed Doom/Doom II/Hexen/Heretic engine to 32-bit Windows.
It stores settings to an ini in its own directory, but is meant for multiple users.
If the username is Sally, every time it's launched by the Sally account, it uses an ini called zdoom-Sally.ini, if another account (let's call it John) uses it, it will use a different ini, zdoom-John.ini. Other than that, it seems portable.
I'd like to be the first to request a PortableApps version of the Open Source DVD authoring tool DVD Flick.
Here's a description of what DVD Flick does taken from its site:
DVD Flick aims to be a simple but at the same time powerful DVD Authoring tool. It can take a number of video files stored on your computer and turn them into a DVD that will play back on your DVD player, Media Center or Home Cinema Set. You can add additional custom audio tracks as well as subtitles of your choice.
I hate to use this word but “Microsoft” has a simple picture editor bundled in with Office called Microsoft Office Picture Manger. It’s so simple to use, my 74 year old mother can use it.
What I’m looking for is a program that can:
1. Crop pictures to a preset size (4X6 5X7 8X10)
2. Red eye removal
3. Adjust brightness, contrast and colour
4. Sort pictures and batch rename them. (drag and drop pictures around in a window, in the order you want them and then rename them all)
how about a little text messenging program? one that can text to cellphones?
