Portable e-Sword

Submitted by s3rvant on December 9, 2006 - 6:27pm

Simply moving the original folder from program files to a jumpdrive doesn't seem to work, and I'm not familiar enough with programming languages to design a wrapper/launcher myself.

please let me know if this would be possible.

AtNotes is sticky note on screen application.
It's freeware and very useful application for everyone.

You can copy its folder to you flashdrive to use in other computers without installation
but some optional configurations are stored in registry.

I've been searching on the net for any portable blog but I guess I found nothing. I like this software, but it installs on my local machine. Is this a closed source app? Would you able to develop a portable w.bloggar?

Putty

Hi,

I think it would be nice to have a portable putty where I could save my hosts bookmark on that.

I think putty is portable, but when you save a host, it save in the local machine.
So, if you need access your server outside the company, you must type the host to connect, user and password.

If there is a backdoor/trojan installed in such machine, the cracker would get the anything typed.
If you could save the hosts to be accessed, the cracker could even get the user/password, not the hosts.
