Hi All

I had some problems with the open source songbird. Win Amp Lite works ok, but I like musicCube best I think. The license looks fully open source. I just copied the program folder to my portable drive and it seemed to work fine.

The Digg comments are not all positive though most are. There are even extra skins on the site.

You could download only 80 MBs of cel-shaded FPS mutliplayer game.

First Person Shooter, similar to Quake...

Only in 80 MBs, what do you guys think? Just extract it to desktop then copy the folder to flash drive and rename to Warsow, that's it! ENJOY!

Online Radio

An online radio would be nice, as WMP 10&11 doesn't support it that well. Like maybe a full size winamp, as the current U3(no portable...) does not work with radio.

StatBar

See http://www.statbar.nl

There is a manual installation mode which lets the user place component files, and the manual uninstallation info instructs the user to remove a few specific files plus a single registry entry. Does this make it a candidate for becoming an official portable app?

PeaZip portable file archiver and compressor

Submitted by giorgiotani on December 5, 2006 - 6:44am

Hi, I always appreciated the portable application approach (and your high quality portable software repository).
I recently developed PeaZip (now at it's 1.1 release), a file archiver and compressor (featuring also file split and two factor authentication encryption) that is basically a portable, autocontained application having all it needs (executables, configuration files etc) in the program's folder.
"PeaZip1.1_Win32.zip" doesn't need installation, you just need to extract and start using it; you can move it and run it from the path you prefer, i.e. form a removable media, a network path or even a CD/DVD rom, however a writeable path is recommended in order to allow updating of persistent randomness collector and configuration files.
