There are many programs which work by taking a initial snapshot of the system and comparing with a final one make portable apps.
However these apps themselves require an installation.

I would be glad if someone makes a "app maker"
Cameyo and VM Ware Thin App are two such softwares and i know they are not opensource but someone could try making them and it will be a landmark success if someone does because then all other apps can be made in a jiffy.

I know the programs will need admin rights but then that's ok as long no permanent changes are made.

If you can not, at least there is a possibility to install via USB drive (the User must install the framework. net on your machine)?

TEncoder is a multithreaded video and audio converter that uses MEncoder, MPlayer and FFMpeg. It can convert almost every video and audio type to each other. Subtitles with same name as video can be hard-coded into video. Up to 8 simultaneous encoders can be run so encoding time decreases. You can select between multiple audio and subtitle tracks. Extracting video or audio content is possible. Edit subtitle and audio delays and part of video that will be encoded. Effects like deinterlacing or cropping can be applied to videos.

This is given free (though requires registration). I found that the package is portable. However, the .exe file is 3 layers deep. Not sure how to make it portable. Tried copying the .exe and then copying the full folder to 1st level sub-dir after portableapps, but this did not work. Tried also to create shortcut in the 1st sub-dir level, but the portableapps suite does not pickup shortcut file.

I just want to request more games that can be played online over a network, whether it be LAN or Internet. My school quickly blocked AssaultCube and Cube and I would like something to play together with friends for a while.

I'm shocked that there aren't much video editors out there when video editors are really needed these days.
Ezvid is one of the best free video editors and I will greatly appreciate it being in the awesome portableapps!

Does anyone know of a portable calendar that has a daily scheduler with reminders of events?
There must be something like this.
The ones I have tried like Task manager and ToDoList are not what I am looking for.
