CRM - Not XAMPP / web based

Submitted by jdunning on January 29, 2009 - 11:21am

My company locked down laptops that I can no longer run Portable XAMPP to use web based open source customer relationship management (CRM) for personal customer and activity management.

Are there any suggestions for an open source, portable application to meet these needs? does not have to be anything fancy. I only need to track open sales opportunities, customer activity and customer contacts.

Thanks in advance.

Free Ip Switcher

What is this program:

source: http://www.eusing.com/ipswitch/free_ip_switcher.htm

Whenever mobile user moves to different network, has to change particular IP address, gateway address, subnet mask, proxy server and default printer, etc., to particular network environment. In order to do it, he has to remember TCP/IP settings information of every network. Also, he has to reboot the computer to apply it to the system and to access the Internet.

Why "Code::Blocks" and not wxDev-C++?

Submitted by mubed on January 29, 2009 - 2:54am

I saw some posts about wxDev-C++, but nobody followed this topic. Is there any reason why you decided to continue with Code::Blocks as the preferred C++ IDE for PortableApps.com, and not wxWidgets? I'm asking because I like wxDev-C++ that lets you develop easily from very simple pure C apps to cross platform wxWidgets.

It would be nice if someone converts Dev C++ (C++ compiling program) and a GIANT advantage would be if someone converts TeamViewer v4 now Smile

First, sorry for my english!

I see that app portable contains the Command Prompt Portable. Then, I propose you an another Cmd Prompt. It's Console 2. I've read the Guidelines and about the Opensource, i don't know if a GPL is an opensource. If not, I'm sorry.

Even if, about Console 2 :

I think it's a very interesting application :

Gobby is a free collaborative editor supporting multiple documents in one session and a multi-user chat. It runs on Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and other Unix-like platforms.

Gobby is covered under the GPL (General Public License).

* Realtime Collaboration through encrypted channels (version 0.4.0 and up)
