I Would like, if its possible, to have nx client available for portableapps

I found this application that allows you to rename files/folders in batches.

Would it be possible to have this applicaton converted to a Portable App or have something written that would do the same thing?

Portable Apps as U3 backup Launcer app
U3 drives are disabled in many computers now
a launcher like portable apps configured to launch
the programs already present in u3 as a backup would ...
save space using the programs present and the ability to
launch non u3 as well would be very welcome even with Xtraveller
please consider a mod to make Portable Apps the U3 backup launcher
for those U3 programs that can be launched without U3

Spicebird is a "free and open source collaboration suite", pim, rss-reader and mailclient, based on thunderbird 1.

A portable version exists from Caschy, but it's not an official version.

What do you think about this project? It's possible to take it to the list of apps making portable?

Portable Apps use of a launcher for Xamp made me think of this one. where the use of a launcher is used because it's better for xamp to be in the / directory. My thought however is for a Universal Launcher for applications that can just be placed in the PortableApps/ folder in there own folder such as /PortableApps/Blender3D/ but once you do you find two or more iconts to the application, and when you have several applications you don't want multiple icons for each one.

someone asked for READ/WRITE indicator for flash drives sometime ago.after lots of searching....

i got this neat little app on this page

as this indicator is meant only for HDD therefore it only supports fixed drive letters
search this forum on how to get your drive to have fixed drive letters.
