Got a suggestion for an app that should be portable? Post it here.

Program: AstroGrep
License: GPL License
Website: http://sourceforge.net/projects/astrogrep/
Description: AstroGrep is A Microsoft Windows GUI File Searching (grep) utility. Features include regular expressions, versatile printing options, stores most recent used paths and has a "context" feature which is very nice for looking at source code.
Other: It appears to be a single executable and doesn't have an installer. It may only need a wrapper to put it in the Portable Apps Format.
Hello
I need this app, Flickr downloader. All I have found are uploaders, but I need to download image sets.
Thanks

It is an open-source SimCity clone. Someone did a version of the original LinCity, but LinCity-NG is a newer fork, and considerably nicer. Thanks!
git has a native windows port. testing now but I doubt it would be too hard to make it portable.
has anyone made a portable app of synergy? thanks
Its just a desktop GUI app that gives some info and eye-candy gadgets. Would be nice to have it on your thumb drive.
WishList: Winzip, WinRar, Winamp, Mozilla Seamonkey, MagicISO, PowerISO,
UltraISO, Adobe Reader, Flash Player, SpyBot, CCleaner, Panda
Virus, Bitcomet, WinSPC, ShockWave Player, Camodo Firewall,
PeerGardian, Prevx, Hijack This, IrfanView, Rootkit Revealer.
Just for starters!
I did not give the URL for these, because a quick search
with Google will turn these applications at the top.

You can download the Damn Small Linux embeded (Guest os) version from here.
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/damnsmall/current/dsl-...
Damn Small Linux is a very versatile 50MB mini desktop oriented Linux distribution.
Damn Small is small enough and smart enough to do the following things:
* Boot from a business card CD as a live linux distribution (LiveCD)
* Boot from a USB pen drive
* Boot from within a host operating system (that's right, it can run *inside* Windows)
