Request Apps

I have searched the archives and have not seen an actual pre-made portable solution for file synchronization as I have use for one.

With every update, my work PC is getting more and more locked down for "security" reasons. For all personal application use, I have been running portable applications on an external USB hard drive.

Now, for the requested application...

I was seeking for a Media player on the portableApps/open source sites, and I found this great Player:

So I don't see any truly free encryption programs that don't have to be installed. But I do know of a great app that is 100%(as in beer) that does not need to be installed. Truecrypt is an encryption program that creates a Virtual Drive that is encrypted. This is an opensource project, so is it possible that they can include it in the Suite?

This "PortableApps" software systems is exactly what my concept bio-PC's will need... PC's worn on the fore-arm as skin grafts, fed by inerts added to the blood...
Mouse and keyboard obsoleted... You just think it in alpha-fringe... Means that the mindless won't be able to make these computers work... And that means that it will very likely create a serious rift in humanity, and warring divisions, by those unable to grasp the intellectual gap expanse, fighting that which made them feel left behind...

How about an mplayer gui portable app, preferably one where you can play dvds with menus and chapter support, play .nsv files with seeking support, play audio cds, and have choice of gui skins. I could help design an initial gui interface, drawing only, not programming sorry.

WinSCP was just certified for U3 and have instructions for converting WinSCP for portable use. I would like to see it make it to the PortableApps Suite.

Hey guys -

I'm looking for a good, small graphics editor (Paint) program - needless to say, one that runs portably - and I was hoping you could help me find one.

I'm not looking for a high-powered app like portable GIMP, just something that does what MS Paint does, w/ maybe a few more features, particularly the capability of zooming OUT a ways (not just IN), which Paint doesn't do.

I have a lot of spam, and i just testing spamato with my NON-PORTABLE Thunderbird, and works great, but i'd like to know if it's possible to make it portable and 100% functional for ThunderbirdPortable.
