Program: PirateBrowser

License: Open Source

Description: "PirateBrowser is an Internet browser by The Pirate Bay used to circumvent Internet censorship. It was released on August 10, 2013 to celebrate the tenth anniversary of The Pirate Bay. It is a bundle of Firefox Portable, the FoxyProxy addon, and the Vidalia Tor client. It does not use the anonymous capabilities of the Tor network, which slows down browsing significantly. According to TorrentFreak it has already been downloaded more than 1,000,000 times"

Opera Next

Just wondering if there is any work being done on making the new version of Opera, Opera Next, portable. AFAIK it is mostly based on Chromium so it should be possible. It is however still in beta so maybe that's why it isn't a portable app yet. If this isn't in development yet it would be great if someone could start work on it. Thanks!

Quod Libet

Hey all,

this awesome music player with embedded Ex Falso tag editor is one of the best music library management softwares out there. I got to it thanks to Linux and it's cross-platform, the guys over at its official website https://code.google.com/p/quodlibet/ offer even a portable version, but it would be nice to see this added to the list of apps here.

If you favor directory-type players over others like me you'll fall in love with this one instantly.

Hi,

I’m very impressed with your web site. I found many very interesting programs here.
I’d like to recommend you very useful program for your review. It’s AnVir Task Manager. It’s a very useful replacement for Windows Task Manager. It shows all running processes, startup programs, and so on. Highly recommended. It has both free and paid edition.
