Is it possible to remove that introduction that pops up whenever you use a portableapps.com app at startup?
Hi All,
I'm using PAM Mod V1.1 locale English R30 and are finding that PAM behaves differently on different machines.
The two things that I have noticed are;
1) Not all applications set to auto start does so on different machines, i.e. TBP would start on machine A (almost without fail) but never (auto) starts on machine B.
2) The sort order of categories is different from machine to machine, i.e. (dir) "FFP" appears above the (dir) "Copy of FFP" on the one machine and visa versa on the other machine.
why is it i can't import a list of contacts from msn to one of these portable client?
can someone please do this.

Was "Why ?"
After reading from a post about how PortableApps uses "Security thru Obscurity" approach I was thinking of a way to increase securty. I understand the MUI and Prefetch registry entries currently cannot be touched. An idea would be to incorporate a quick sweep from CleanAfterMe (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/clean_after_me.html) or some similar software to into the ejection script. This I understand cleans the MUI and Prefetch and a long list of other tracks from the pc. The app is already portable being a single EXE and is the best of its kind I know of.
I have made a background skin for the PA menu using gimp and it was easy but looks good and wondering if anyone would like to use it? I have put a link to the picture here.
I noticed that pivot is perfect for portable apps but don't know if anyone really wants it. so who would like it?
I would like to protect my USB stick but if i put all applications into a Truecrypt image, I can only use them, if I have administrator privileges which severely limits portability. On the other hand I would like to protect some of the applications, like Thunderbird or Sunbird, while the most could remain free. One possibility would be to install one portable app on a protected portion of the drive, others on the free part, but then you have two menus, making it not an elegant choice. It would like to be able to mount programs into the menu from a truecrypted image.
im new to portableapps, (GREAT software) is there an exe file that will create a portableapps installer file if i give it a portable app? it would be easy for me to be able to just make a portable version of an oss program and have an exe re-package it as a portableapps installer.
Please help me!!!
