Hi everyone.
I'm using PortApp on my flash at home and 3 offices. There are different network settings (proxy servers) on each working place.

I'm constantly changing the PROXY servers for all online applications, like Miranda, Thunderbird, FileZilla etc.

It could be great to create an application which could auto-detect proxy settings (from installed IE, for example)and manage many Proxy profiles to choose from and setup the config files for Online applications while choosing one of them, like:

Home
Office1
Office2
Office3

Name it PortGlobeProxy for example

Yeah I am trying to make FM portable but the .freemind folder left behind in the user's Docs and Settings folder is giving me a rash. FMP seems to retain its setting only once, and even at that 1st time the .freemind folder is left behind. The launcher is based off of John's Mines-Perfect Portable launcher.

So please look at the .nsi and help me fix it.

to look on the development, but what i want is to for example on step 3 how do I do I recognaise where Does the program store its settings in, whats the procedure or what do I look for

Is there? Because I am making a utility that eradicates private data created by Window$ such as Recent Documents. If there isn't is there a way to use the AppData variable and to go up to the hiearacy to the Docs and Settings directory in order to reach the Recent Documents Directory?

I just downloaded a copy of PortableApps.
Just loved a concept and was productive within minuted.

What I love the most is the GUI. The User interface is just AMAZING!

Just wondering what was used for interface programming of the app?

How about supporting user friendly error logs. Many people says that PAM is not working, and few people know how to identify which error is, being unable to solve it (see example). PAM already has a error log. But this isn't user friendly, and the error windows doesn't inform where the error log is (according to the comments on the forum).
