Portable App Development

I want to make an app portable, but it uses registry keys.
So, is there a tool that can determine the used keys and maybe write a .reg file to add and delete those keys from the registry ? If yes, how does it work exactly ?

We need more emulators! Like Portable DosBox or Nester or Daemon Tools n stuff.

Which emulators would you most like to see made into portable apps?

Recently I've been very addicted to the whole portable app thing, even looked into virtualization and all that business.

I'm currently using SpeedCommander as my file manager and I love it so I had the bright idea of trying to make it portable. Unfortunately I'm not talented enough to figure out all the settings to get it working right from reading the templates and other .nsi source codes!

I recommend some kind of option that when the human player in a one-player game folds, the remainder of the hand is played out instantly, results are displayed, and the next hand starts immediately after. Right now you have to watch the entire hand play out. I believe the folks who are downloading this to play off of portable devices don't want to spend a lot of time watching a hand they're not playing. I understand it's only a little time here and a little time there, but it adds up quickly.

I would like to see a feature that separates the Firefox history based on which computer you're using. This could be done using the Windows product key or a user-host name combination. When I use Firefox PE at work I only want to see my history from work. Sometimes my history has things that are NSFW because I use it in several places. I find it unlikely there is an extension that does this, since Firefox is typically non-portable.

I'm working on a mod of the app CAFE, which allows you to associate files temporarily to your portable apps.

I posted the first 2 betas already, first did not have language support because of all the string changes i had to make. Beta 2 does have language support, but I may have missed adding a few strings to the list.

I'm now working on beta 3, which will implement the strings in the [wingui] section of the below list. If anyone is interested in doing translations, here are the strings.

Lines 227 and 239 in the cleanup section have the MoveKey values reversed. Please fix because line 227 is the main HKCU\Heidi key so all user settings are not restored after exiting the portable version.
