How could one open 2 Firefoxes at the same time?
This message appears when trying it (saying, another instance is already running):

Where could I get the last version of FF to get the add ons working again?
I would like to be able to use my legacy extensions. I will keep using the latest FF, but occasionally need data from my old "scrapbook" extension which doesn't work with FF 57
It seems the portable launcher of that program can't fully handle the change of the drive letters. My profile was created when the USB drive letter was F and works perfectly with it:

(the tab size is the right since the TabMix Plus extension works)

(all the addons have their icons and their options menus are available)
Can we disable updates with FirefoxPortableESR52.2.0
On this thread...

...John TH said that Firefox is not supporting XP after version 55, and thus that is the reason why more recent versions of Firefox Portable won't launch in XP. However, I have the same problem in Cherry Tree: v 0.38.0 works fine, but 0.38.3 won't launch.
This problem might affect a lot more apps than just Firefox and cherry Tree, but those were the only two I updated before finding the problem. Any thoughts, John?
Thanks.
I am using Firefox Portable ESR 52.4.1 32-bit, with SumatraPDF plug-in.
Using a customized usercontent.css, I found that the rule for HTTPS links ([href^="https:"] { content: url() }) is activated only after reloading FF (not version specific). Other rules go w/o issue.
Does anyone know the reason for this, and how to circumvent it?
I have used Firefox in Sandbox (for security). Until Firefox 56 there were no problems. But in Firefox 56.01 (open in Sandboxie) are experiencing problems. Firefox 56.01 no longer saves or updates my Email accounts and their saved passwords anymore in Bookmarks. That is, to enter my Email accounts, (in firefox 56.01) I always have to enter my email and password. In Firefox 56 I automatically login to accounts because unlike version 56.01, version 56 still saves all data (email accounts and passwords) on it. Then I decided do not update to 56.01.
