InfraRecorder Portable 0.44.1 Revision 3Submitted by Travis Carrico on March 14, 2008 - 5:19pm.
Features
Learn more about InfraRecorder... New In This ReleaseThis new release corrects a bug where InfraRecorder Portable left some temporary files and or an empty folder in C:\Documents and Settings\travis\local settings\temp or in c:\infrarecorderportabletemp in the case of Revision 2. The new Revision 3 release works dynamically and also has support for remembering the last location you used for source files and the language you selected as you move PCs. To ensure that errors are corrected, any customizations (language, settings changes, etc) will be reset when upgrading from 0.44.1 or 0.44.1 Revision 2. Thanks to John T. Haller for the code fix to correctly update the settings file. Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused by the bug in the earlier releases. PortableApps.com Installer / PortableApps.com FormatInfraRecorder Portable is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. And it's in PortableApps.com Format, so it automatically works with the PortableApps.com Suite including the Menu and Backup Utility. StephenQ - March 14, 2008 - 7:01pmQuick Question, does this program require admin rights like nero does?
edit: Never mind, it appears it also has problems

All Burners
I'm pretty sure that no software can burn a disc unless the account has permission to access the burner. And there is no way around that.

Awesome!
Patrick Patience (Homepage) - March 14, 2008 - 7:35pmI'm sure this one is gonna be really popular, Travis.
Awesome work!
I know a mouse, and he hasn't got a house. I don't know why I call him Gerald. He's getting rather old, but he's a good mouse.
Is there a way to get it to
Crumbles - March 14, 2008 - 9:02pmIs there a way to get it to stop using the infrarecorder express part and just load the program?

Finally an open source
Finally an open source equivalent to the precious DeepBurner.
Congratulations, PortableApps always on top!
No wonder our favorite Apps source is on this site... ( I don't post for each and every new stuff, but that new game is pretty nice too!)

When this deletes the temp
Crumbles - March 15, 2008 - 6:40pmWhen this deletes the temp directory, is it a secure delete, or just a delete that can be restored with a undelete program?

This is great!
fdimatt - March 20, 2008 - 7:23pmI've been waiting for a portable burning app. Are there plans to allow the use of M3U files?
