That was an oversight on my part. I've updated it to with the digitally signed version.

Where are you installing them to? They should be copied to GoldenDict\Data\content when GoldenDict is closed.

I've added it to the description so it's clearer for other users now, too. Oddly, this information isn't made clear on the base app's site either.

The app itself disables these in portable mode. Probably because of path issues. I think we could work with the main devs to get things working, though. There's nothing our launcher can't handle in terms of updating full paths in settings files or song lists in INI, config, XML or even a SQLite database.

As John said, GoldenDict itself disables sound dirs in portable mode. I posted a feature request on their forum, and hopefully we'll be able to get that working, either in GoldenDict itself or in the launcher.

And it removes the keys on exit. As do many apps.

I just obtained the GoldenDict Portable install program (version 1.0.1-1). I checked the file for internal errors with 7-zip, to ensure the down-load didn't leave out anything or corrupt the file. Also, I checked the MD5 signature and it matched.

During install into the PortableApps suite, the installer stops with a message that the QtWebKit4.dll file can't be written. I re-tried the install more than once and it stops at the same place.

The USB flash stick is not full. I am running Win2K Pro, with all the available updates installed - that has not interfered with any of the other installations into the suite.

What can I do to get the install to complete?

Thanks,
